Dreyfus is a silver Labradoodle who adopted my cousin Melinda after spending the first few months of his puppyhood neglected in the backyard. Today he is a handsome, well-behaved therapy dog, thanks to his mom’s dedicated training efforts! Nice save, Melinda! :-)
For anyone keeping score, my Poodle-doodle Rosie is Dreyfus’ second cousin. As genealogy buffs, we make a point of knowing these things!

Dreyfus was fun to do because he is my canine cousin once-removed. ;-) My cousin rescued him and turned him into quite a good doggie citizen. I just posted Dreyfus’ story on my blog, if you are interested in meeting him.

this migt be my favorite of your works. I love the use of negative space to create his hair texture. I especially like the random hairs coming up off his nose. Your work is very nice!
