This was great, Sue. Did you send the portrait to Mary’s family, or Peter and Paul? It is so great they might want a copy. Marilyn Beegle

Thanks, Sue! I didn't realize Mary had died. I was fortunate enough to have front row seats at their last concert at the Valley Forge Music Fair. Mary pulled me up on stage with them along with some other lucky people. She was so nice and I got a hug and kiss from her at the end. That was the second concert of theirs I had been to at the VFM Fair. I sure miss that theatre. Nance

Sue, You are not only a talented artist but obviously a very thoughtful, warmhearted person and excellent writer! We also 'grew up' with the PPM music and it still has appeal for such a wide audience. You have shared food for thought to brighten my day.
Thanks a bunch!

A really a nice tribute, Sue. We too were sad about Mary, especially Matt, who knows more of their music than I do and has seen them on stage. We watched the videos in your Tribute which inspired Matt to dig out his Peter, Paul and Mary CD and listen to some more tunes, especially Light One Candle (3 times)! Thanks, Sue! Audrey

Sue, you served us your Tribute to Mary Travers as a true labor of love. I use 'labor' in the sense of child birth, the painful bringing forth of life. As someone just wisely wrote, "an artist reveal[ing] a piece of herself." Thank you... Carole
